Guinea-Bissau’s employment framework was substantially revised by the Labour Code approved by Law no. 7/2022 of 19 July. The firm worked with Abreu Advogados on the employment chapter of the Guinea-Bissau Investment Guide 2023/2024, published by the Portugal–Guinea-Bissau Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We advise employers on hiring, workforce organisation and the prevention and handling of disputes.
